I took it home and played it for a while but i don’t want it because i don’t have the space and its all electric guitar stuff which i have never been all that attracted to, I play the classical and thought heres my chance to check out an electric but i just didnt like it

so i decided to sell it but i don’t know much about electric guitars and pedals and amps stuff

so here’s basically all of it

1) an Ibanez RG series electric guitar I don’t know what model it is but it looks exactly like the prestige 1570 only its not a prestige. Its in very good condition as far as i can tell. it doesn’t buzz on any of the frets or anything like that

2) A rectangular shaped Hard shell case for the guitar with a Burgundy colored plush interior and a storage compartment

3) a DOD Death Metal distortion pedal with AC adapter

4)an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff distortion pedal with AC adapter. it had a Pi symbol on it but whatever graphics were on it are scratched all to hell

5) an off-brand 25 watt practice Amp. It has a Drive button and Gain, Volume, Treble Middle and Bass controls (it actually sounds really nice just clean) I think its a tube amp because there are tubes in the back

6)a Korg brand tuner/metronome its not digital its analog (not sure if thats actually the right way to describe it)

7) three sets of GHS strings .09-.46
8) eight sets of various gauges of Ernie Ball strings but many of the packages have missing strings

9) string winder

10) two 10 ft amp cables and one 4 ft coiled one

11) guitar stand

12) Santana Tab book, Eagles Greatest Hits Tab book

13) HUNDREDS OF PICKs ( i obviously took a handful for my self but i never pay for them anyway so ill leave the bulk of them

so basically I want to try to sell it as a lot on craigslist and while i have ideas about the prices of individual items I need to know a fair price for the whole lot

I really dont want to sell bits and pieces because selling things on craigslist can often be a pain in the ass

The Grey

He sat in the stuffy, 8 x 8 cubicle, typing away at the bulky, awkward piece of machinery that looked like it came out of a 1970’s remake of Tron. The cheap Target neon-green clock that his boss won at a bowling tournament in Cleveland (that sonofabitch. Robbed me of my Christmas bonus – said it was because of cutbacks, BULLSHIT it was because that sonofagoddambitch didn’t give a shit about my hard work) ticked away in the background, working like a metronome on Finn’s mind, blending with the depressing sound of the keyboard beneath his fingers. Twenty minutes till time out. Twenty long minutes.
Cathy, the new klutz of a receptionist walked buy, her arms overflowing with dozens of files as she left Don’s (goddamthatsonofabitch) office. Finn chuckled under his breath. (She won’t last a week.) Not that he cared. He finished entering the data, signed off, grabbed the muted russet Armani trench and headed out. Mark waved goodbye; he didn’t wave back.

He hopped in the rusted silver Lexus LF-Xh Hybrid SUV, catching his coat as he slammed the door shut in a rush; it was starting to rain. “Dammit…” He muttered. He drove on the interstate until he reached the offramp and drove until he reached Seedy Oaks Apartment Unit parking lot. He clunked up the old, flood-stained stairs because the elevators where still out of service (they ever gonna get fixed, I don’t pay 500$ a month for this shit) lugging his black briefcase, it’s gold-engraved S.D. shining compared to Finn’s disposition. He tried seven before he found the right key to apartment 207; Welcome Home, Finn.

I’m sorry to say that it didn’t make me want to read more

The very first sentence was dull he sat in a 8×8 room
I like that you’ve added detail but there’s a bit of detail thats really not needed at points.
such as he drove to the interstate
unless the interstate has meaning who cares which way he went home?
(* perhaps you can leave out these parts *)

Also i dislike the fact that you’ve thrown in him cursing at the start over every other thing.
If you wanted to tell the story that he’s angry, you can do it in more other ways that cursing.
“Such as he banged the coffee cup hard against the table”
“He snapped open the desk draw and screwed up the peices of paper”

Please don’t stop writting, just take my comment as constructive critism.

I need a metronome at least, but I would like a combination metronome and tuner if possible. I play a Bb trumpet. I would like a tuner that can go 120 bpm or more, as I currently need to practice jazz music, and have a few problems counting. In addition, I also need to work on marching band music, specially keeping a certain high passage in tune. So far, I might buy one of the following:

Korg = good.
Boss = OK.
Qwik Tune = junk.

I have a Korg CA-30 and TM-40, and I highly recommend them both (though the CA-30 has been discontinued).

I’m assuming you’re lead guitar right? If you’re rhythm and need to tune during a show you either need new strings or a better guitar. So I’m going to assume you’re lead.

My first piece of advice is to go to your local music store and tell them you want to set up a foot switch board. If you’re playing lead this is a must for live shows.

That will fit very well on your foot board.

If you dont have the money to set up a full stage rig that’s fine you can get more as you go along I would suggest grabbing a volume pedal if you dont already have one, and then adding a few of your choice effects. Foot switch is really the only way to go if you’re on stage and dont have a built in tuner on your guitar.
