Does it by any chance look like http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Korg-GA30-GuitarBass-Tuner?sku=210526 if so just turn it on play a string when the digital arrow/pointer get’s exactly in the center it means that string is in tune as your using an acoustic guitar if it goes slightly to either side that is ok your string is in tune
