Question by Student: Metronome for Violin/Piano?
Heya,
I’m a beginner in violin and piano and I thought maybe I should buy a metronome to help out with pacing…. not sure which works well with either instrument… can you guys recommend me one?
I did find the following but not sure of how well and loud (you gotta hear it click over the instrument) they work.
Eitherway thanks!!!

Answer by Hollydog They are all much of a muchness.
I prefer the old wooden ones just because you can see it moving as well as hearing it.
You can get them that have a pull out stick that rings a bell on the first beat of the bar as well.
They can be set to 2, 3, 4 and 6 beats in a bar.
Whereas, the digital ones are only sound.
