I have one and the volume is bastard piercing….. One to leave on through the night if you hate your housemates. tick tock tick tock. That digital noise will pirce the innards of your brain…
Apart from that it will also increase accuracy and speed!
I got this for 8.50$ on ebay with 5$ shipping.cant wait till it arrives!!!
it’s too quiet you need alouder click
Yeah but that is sufficient for anyone with good ears, and a good practice for those who don’t yet
Dumb piece of shet, that is just a tuner not a metronome
thats a tuner dumbass.
This is a metrenome. there fore no comparison.
stay whit the ga30,fuck this shit
Another great piece of kit from Korg.
Ya you can’t actually tune your guitar strings to it… you will need an actual tuner with a mic built in. I do like the volume control on this unit… man that is obnoxious when you cant control the volume on one of these things.
You can get it for about 16. bucks on Amazon.
This is a metronome that can play the sound of the 12 pitches(ABCDEFG and it’s #’s) trough the little speaker..
It’s just a good reference for tuning any intrument .. but not actually a tuner.
does it only tune standard?
I got this metronome. Its been big help for practice..and the size very convenient
It just makes/ plays the note out the speaker, it looks like
With this tuner do I just select the note so I can do drop c or is this just standered tuning?
bout 30 bucks.
Ooo, how much is this??
Please reply someone!
Cheers in Adv.!!

@Keaton47 I don’t believe this metronome was designed for usage with a drum kit. I do know that the drummer in my jazz band uses this metronome with our sessions, and just uses louder headphones.
Aside from that, there are other, louder metronomes like the Boss Dr.Beat which are loud by themselves but also have 1/4″ output for amplification. If that isn’t loud enough, there are also ones used by marching bands loud enough to fill entire fields
this metronome is a piece of fucking shit what a waste of 20 billz i cant hear it over my drumset regardless if im playing perfectly or missing every beat, even if im barley tapping the fucking drums, oh and guess fucking what, OOOO plug the headphones in, that dosent work either. piece of shit.
Could be a product fault. Try exchanging it for another?
Yes, Virtuoosi, You can set a time signature with a count of anything from 1-7, or you can set articulations (8th, 16th, triplets)!
Does that have the 7/8 time signature?
if your just gonna set it on a table or somewhere close to you, then no, but i have this and i hook it up to my big stero and only like that, i can hear it
I just got one of these, brand new and when I opened it and inserted the batteries the damn thing refuses to start up.
What do you think could be responsible for this Mr. Stringsavvy?
I have this metronome. It is the best value for its range. It makes a great metronome for students.
On the sides of the unit are spots labeled “push.” Squeeze these two tabs inward and take the metronome apart. The batteries are located on the inside. Snap back together when finished!
Please refrain from using harsh language in the future
where do the fucking batterys go?
yeah.. i already have mine.. since i play mostly with mufflers on my drum kit im able to listen to the metronome perfectly.. and for the price is a great deal! the only bad thing for me is that although it plays triplets dotted 16ths 8ths etc.. it doesent play any off those in odd countings.. you can choose from acentuating 0 notes up to 7 notes or you can chose the triplets, 8ths 16th…
other than that.. its a great deal
I’m buying this for my drum practice too. I’ve heard that most metronomes, even the higher end ones are hard to hear when practicing. What’s nice about this is the pendulum feature. I’ve got a cheap Quartz one, and it’s hard with just a blinking red light. So hopefully this will help. Besides, a lot of those higher end Boss ones don’t seem to get very good reviews on amazon. Lots of different problems with them. This one gets a solid 4.5 star rating based on over 70 reviews on amazon.
thanks a lot! im about to buy one.. im a drummer so do you think i will be able to hear it? im dont play super loud but drums are a loud instrument to begin with so.. you think it will be audible? (without the phones)
If the sound is up and there is still no sound, Its possible that it could be malfunctioning? Try calling Korg- there should be a number in the manual.
i cant get my korg metronome to work it doesnt have sound help me lol i turn it on but theres no sound and i press mute to see if its on mute but that still doesnt work
I have this thing and i have a classical guitar,- what I have to do with this metronome to set up my guitar strings?????
These are cheap on amazon.
Thanks for this. Nice to hear the sound before I buy one off the internet.
dude that’s cool i just bought one today and i found this video lol
Generally metromes have a high pitched click that will come across unpitched- but if you are particularly sensitive to the tone it produces- you could look into a drum machine of some sort though some can be quite expensive. They will generally come pre-programmed with basic beats and often have spaces to save your own.
Many guitar effects processors also have various rock and other beats pre-programmed.
can anyone recommend a compact metronome that produces a percussion-like sound as opposed to a “note”. most modern metronomes produces sounds that are perceived as notes, in this case an E note and that drives me crazy unless i’m actually playing something in E
Absolutely! Be sure to check back at my site for updates!
Thank you for watching!
thank you for this. We own one and my Dad put it into triplets, and I can’t play with that. I like duplets. So, this was very helpful.
