Because it’s killing me and I hate having to do it.
I’m not entirely unable to keep time; I play drums too and I use a metronome when I practice on those. That’s no problem, but playing guitar with a metronome is making me want to set it on fire and ditch guitar forever.

Answer by Mylady89 I also used to hate it, but, after a lot of suffering I noted it made me much more secure about rhythm…anyway you can also practise without it, but then you have to be really talented…maybe u are…
