Korg Metronome

The Korg Metronome – A good digital metronome and Your Best Friend

The first thing which you should buy after buying your instrument should be the korg metronome. This cannot be overrated as a little tool. Over the years I’ve had many but if you are really able to take care of them then they can last for a really long time and help you very well.A suggestion to the types of korg metronomes one can buy. The old traditional ones which one has to wind up is not as durable as the new ones in market. I prefer the ones which have the deeper clicking sound rather than the ones with a higher pinging noise which I find to be very annoying after some time. So, don forget these while choosing your metronome. Not being able to keep a steady tempo besides playing choppy notes are the first things that I notice in most beginners. A song is unrecognizable as long as you don’t give proper value to the notes or keep an even tempo.

When I was teaching in Yellowknife, NWT  there was a fellow who came for lessons. The notes that he played was correct except for his timing which was all over the place. The guy never gave the notes their proper value and never kept an even tempo. I helped him to play better by guiding him in just few lessons by using the korg metronome. It’s simply not music if there is not proper not value and tempo. All professional musicians know how valuable a korg digital metronome is and recording musicians often – or almost in fact- what they commonly refer to as ‘click track’ or simply just a “click”. This is just the korg metronome which keeps clicking as they play in-order to keep the time, paying their music steadily.
